The Majestic Model 461 was introduced in the early summer of 1933 as one of Grigsby-Grunow's new line of "smart-sets". The company was bankrupted in February of 1934. It was the depression, companies failed and money was tight. Few radios were sold and most did not survive. The early 1930's were known for chrome and black trimmed deco radios. Here is a wonderful example of a deco era gone by.

The radio has been completely restored, chassis and cabinet. The chrome grille has been re-chromed. The grille cloth is a reproduction of the original.
