Stewart Warner Model 91-513 "Spade" Table Radio SOLD!!!

$1,200.00

The Stewart Warner model 91-513, known by collectors as a "Spade". It gets its name from its profile from a suit in a deck of cards. It is un-usual and very stylish model from the 1939. It has a straight standard dial tuning dial, with four mechanical pushbuttons for station selection, referred to by Stewart Warner as the “Magic Keyboard".

The set has been electronically restored and picks up many stations across the dial. The radio has a complete recap electronic restoration - all the electrolytic capacitors were replaced with new production parts. All the paper foil capacitors were replaced as well. The radio has very nice reception with no hum. Station after station can be listened to on AM. The set produces excellent volume and good sound from the front mounted speaker. A new power cord was installed for safety.

The cabinet finish is in its remarkable original finish. Also, it has its original knobs and grill cloth.
